THE TREE GROWER'S GUIDE
2022–2023

I am helping a consortium of tree-loving charities and local councils to produce the ultimate guide to planting trees. An update of the well-loved Good Seed Guide, this book offers practical, tried-and-tested advice on everything a tree grower needs to know, from finding seeds to stratifying and planting them, to setting up your own community nursery and turning it into a thriving business that excites tree planters and inspires volunteers.

The book is now available in print and digital formats on the Tree Grower's Guide website. Find out more here.

SEEING IT ALL: WOMEN PHOTOGRAPHERS EXPOSE OUR PLANET
Autumn 2023

This autumn, BigPicture (California Academy of Sciences) will publish a new book, SEEING IT ALL: Women Photographers Expose Our Planet. I am proud to have helped bring this book to fruition as Contributing Editor. It will showcase the work of 11 pioneering photographers who are making a difference through their work. Going beyond celebratory nature photography, these women are shaping a visual narrative that highlights the conservation causes they are most passionate about. Find out more – soon.

POR EL PLANETA 2015 COMMEMORATIVE BOOK
November 2015

The Por el Planeta photo competition is close to my heart. First, I was invited to advise on its launch – categories, rules, principles and USPs etc. Then, I joined the jury alongside such Nat Geo greats as Paul Nicklen, Brian Skerry and Kathy Moran. Finally, I was asked to produce the commemorative book.
As editor, I was responsible for briefing and advising the design team; securing image details from 100+ photographers; writing exciting captions for every image; commissioning and editing introductory content from the competition owner, Mexico's Televisa TV company, director Cristina Mittermeier, the jury, media partners and the sponsors; securing sign-off from all contributors; and press-passing the book.
The book launched at the Awards Gala in November.
TIGER CANYONS
2016

I edited this photography book for renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018 overall winner Marsel van Oosten about John Varty's vision for saving the tiger from extinction – in South Africa.
